RAG, LangGraph & AI Agents Course in India

Retrieval, orchestration and action — the three pillars of useful GenAI. Build production-grade RAG systems, wire them into LangGraph workflows, and graduate to autonomous agents that decide and execute.

What is RAG?

Retrieval-Augmented Generation grounds an LLM in your own data. Instead of guessing, the model retrieves relevant chunks from a vector store and answers with citations. RAG is what turns a generic chatbot into a trustworthy assistant over private documents, support tickets, codebases or product catalogues.

Why LangGraph matters

Linear LangChain chains break down once your AI needs branching logic, retries, or human-in-the-loop. LangGraph models AI workflows as state machines — explicit nodes, edges and conditional transitions — which is how production GenAI systems are actually built.

RAG + LangGraph + Agents architecture

  • Ingestion: parsing PDFs, HTML, transcripts and DB rows into clean chunks.
  • Embedding strategy: model choice, chunk size, overlap, hybrid keyword + vector.
  • Vector store: FAISS for local, Chroma for prototyping, Pinecone for scale.
  • Retrieval: dense, sparse, hybrid and reranking with cross-encoders.
  • Orchestration: LangGraph nodes for retrieve → reason → tool-call → respond.
  • Agentic upgrade: turning a RAG pipeline into a tool an agent can invoke.
  • Evaluation: faithfulness, answer relevance, retrieval hit-rate.

Architecture example

A typical project graph: Ingestion job → Vector store → LangGraph workflow (Router node → Retriever node → Claude reasoning node → Tool node → Reflection node) → FastAPI endpoint → Streamlit UI. You will build, deploy and debug this end-to-end stack, not just the LLM call.

Projects you will build

  • Document-Q&A assistant with citations and source highlighting
  • Codebase RAG that answers questions about a real GitHub repo
  • LangGraph workflow with router, retriever and reflection nodes
  • Hybrid-search support assistant with reranking
  • Agentic RAG: agent decides when to retrieve vs. answer directly
  • Domain analyst that combines RAG with SQL tool-calling

Who should join

  • Engineers ready to ship real GenAI features at work.
  • ML/DS practitioners moving from notebooks to production AI services.
  • Builders prototyping internal knowledge assistants.
  • Students aiming for AI engineer / GenAI engineer roles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RAG still relevant given long-context LLMs?

Yes. Long context is expensive and slow at scale. RAG remains the right pattern for private data, fresh data, citations and cost-sensitive deployments — long context complements it, not replaces it.

Will I learn LangChain or LangGraph?

Both, with LangGraph as the production focus. LangChain is taught as the toolbox; LangGraph is taught as the architecture for non-trivial systems.

Which vector database should I commit to?

None — you will build with FAISS (local), Chroma (lightweight), and Pinecone (managed). The course teaches you to choose per workload rather than per vendor preference.

Do you teach evaluation, not just building?

Yes. You will measure retrieval hit-rate, answer faithfulness and end-to-end task success, and use those metrics to actually improve your system.

How does this differ from the Agentic AI course?

This page anchors on retrieval and workflow. The Agentic AI page anchors on autonomy and tool use. The flagship program covers both in depth.

Are projects deployable?

Yes — FastAPI backend plus Streamlit or simple web UI, deployable to Azure or any container host.
